Volunteer with CKUW

CKUW is always looking for volunteers from the campus and community. If you have a passion for radio, music and ideas or just want to help out behind the scenes let us know!

Volunteers must complete a series of training workshops before joining the Radio Society. Over the course of three short workshops you will learn about:

• CKUWs organization
• Canadian broadcasting rules & regulations
• How to operate our on-air studio

The workshops are free of charge and are scheduled at flexible times every month. Annual membership is only $10 for U of W students and $20 for everyone else.

After completing the training, volunteers are eligible for any of the great opportunities at CKUW.

• Create your own radio show
• Join our news team
• Help organize and catalogue new music
• Learn how to edit sound on our computers
