Before moving on to the slow rumbling groove of \u201cI\u2019m Sick\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The third song of the night, \u201cIcebox\u201d, boasted singer Elise Roller\u2019s spitfire vocals, gnarly guitar, and a swaggering boss groove, warping and weaving around it all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHey Pretty\u201d followed with Roller opening the song, exclaiming, \u201cthis song is about fuck buddies,\u201d before busting into a burly and bustling gut punch groove, sweat and swagger written all over it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cRunaway\u201d whorls with slithering psychedelic guitar and transitioned with a krautrock-like grind into one of the show standouts, \u201cGuts\u201d, with its instrumentals that hit with martial punch, vocals that spit flames, and searing spiral hooks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSoul Taker\u201d found Roller with gravelly vocals, seemingly at her most emphatic, and was followed up by a hard-fisted rendition of Audioslave\u2019s \u201cCochise\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBe A Man\u201d had Roller in a high snarl, with guitar swirling around a bristling and distorted rubbery bass groove. The drums and bass feeling like they\u2019re punching up from beneath the floor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final song of the night before heading into the encores was \u201cBody Bandit\u201d, with trickle and swirl down guitar, tumbling drums and Roller\u2019s ominous wail soaring somewhere in a vibrant mix of fraught passion and frenzied despair.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first encore was another one of the night\u2019s standout songs, with its Queens of the Stone Age-like string squeals, \u201cTulips\u201d hit hard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Second encore and another night standout \u201cEasy Come\u201d was bursting with energy, cascading grooves in headbanger bliss, all scorched earth and seared riffs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final encore of the night was a sparse, militaristic, spiraling and pummeling rendition of Destiny\u2019s Child\u2019s \u201cSurvivor\u201d. The guitar hooks rang with soulful force, heavy in its pulsing momentum, and Roller, with seemingly more conviction than ever, singing \u201cI\u2019m a survivor, I \u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Solhounds play so you can feel the bass kick in your ribcage, in the best way. The band plays with immediacy and a relentless spirit. Solhounds play with fire.
