Gotta love the blog digs.<br \/>\nFirst up, a new video from gothwave (\/whatever) artist <a href=\"http:\/\/stylusmagazine.ca\/?s=grimes\" target=\"_self\">Grimes<\/a> who&#8217;s currently on tour with Lykke Li. &#8220;Vanessa&#8221; features a horde of dancers starring in a video that&#8217;s stuck between the worlds of fashion photography and a kaleidoscope.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/22215457?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And then here&#8217;s &#8220;Japan Man&#8221; from Silly Kissers, which, for years to come, will be in direct lineage of &#8220;Mr. Roboto,&#8221; &#8220;I think I&#8217;m Turning Japanese,&#8221; and kin to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kbAISMzd7vA\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Chinatown.&#8221;<\/a> The groovy 1970s greenscreen editing was done by the band&#8217;s singer Jane Penny.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/23663802?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Also, be sure to check out our upcoming interview with Arbutus artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arbutusrecords.com\/?page_id=30\" target=\"_self\">Sean Nicholas Savage<\/a> in our June\/July print issue, and it&#8217;ll be online sometime soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s a couple new gems from the freshly-revamped Arbutus Records website.
