Following in the footsteps of his <em>Beach Bum Singles EP<\/em>, <em>In\u2026Hawaii<\/em> features blaring distorted Hives-like garage rock with lead off track  \u201cNo! You Shut Up!\u201d coupled with the classic surf rock sound in  \u201cFilament\u201d and \u201cHawaii Electric.\u201d It even has a couple rockabilly  numbers with \u201cI\u2019m a Lion\u201d and \u201cShake your Feet.\u201d <em>In\u2026Hawaii<\/em> may not seem unique because each cut is somewhat based on familiar song  structures that we\u2019ve heard before, but it\u2019s in how Greg Arcade builds  on them which makes it so perfectly conceived. Each track is a  thought-out homage to rock \u2019n\u2019 roll with great lyrics and attitude to  match. Arcade even ends off this perfect party album with the  whimsy-laden \u201cAfter-Glow,\u201d which sounds reminiscent of Skynyrd\u2019s  \u201cTuesday\u2019s Gone.\u201d Well done.
