We sipped on wine as the hands played themselves out. From the stereo, the songs off Keri Latimer\u2019s new solo effort poured into the room. Latimer\u2019s beautiful voice accompanies the well written and sparsely arranged tunes perfectly. <a href=\"http:\/\/kerilatimer.bandcamp.com\/track\/persuader\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cPersuader\u201d<\/a> is a dark little rocker with a bit of a groove to it. The title track is a beautiful little ditty with some nice piano work courtesy of Christine Fellows. <a href=\"http:\/\/kerilatimer.bandcamp.com\/track\/so-long\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cSo Long\u201d<\/a> is probably my favourite track on here, a track which really showcases both Latimer\u2019s distinctively voice, but also her top-notch songwriting. <a href=\"http:\/\/kerilatimer.bandcamp.com\/track\/liquidation-sale\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cLiquidation Sale\u201d<\/a> is another great track, which sounds like the lovechild of the Weakerthans\u2019 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rGkSNQ2AB7k\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cEverything Must Go\u201d<\/a> and Dolly Parton\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ow7_-3tAkew\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cBargain Store.\u201d<\/a> All in all, a great disc to put on for both sexy times and reflective times.
