Canadiana punk anthems \u201cShania Twain Left Mutt Lange (For Me),\u201d \u201cKick Cindy Klassen in the Face,\u201d and \u201cDale Hawerchuk Drunk in a Strip Bar\u201d are sure to become classics. SiZZle shows us his introspective, artistic side here too, though, on beauties like \u201cI Dream of Insects\u201d and \u201cSo&#8230; He Died in Jail.\u201d Throughout, SiZZle displays great storytelling and a way with words that, while frequently referencing pop culture, are sure to stand the test of time. In the future, when we finally have flying skateboards, music geeks will talk about SiZZle in the same terms as Daniel Johnston, BA Johnston, and Mr. Awesome. A true Winnipeg original, we are blessed to have JohNNy SiZZle and his tunes.
