A good chunk of the record is indeed about travelling, such as the title track, the rocking <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8HNOxZIWWgA\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cStill Not Home,\u201d<\/a> and the plaintive <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4fXiRJSIDfo\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cToo Soon To Go.\u201d<\/a> Andrew Bird makes an appearance, sharing vocals on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metacafe.com\/watch\/9263151\/tift_merritt_drifted_apart\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cDrifted Apart.\u201d<\/a> Produced by Tucker Martine (The Decemberists, My Morning Jacket), the album ebbs and flows nicely around Merritt\u2019s short-story like songs, giving each tale its own space to breath. Having first stumbled across Merritt shortly after <em>Bramble Rose<\/em> came out in 2002, it\u2019s reassuring to hear a record like this one, where the artist has grown substantially over a decade while still holding true to the artistic vision they came out of the gates with.
