Like his debut independent stand-up release, <em>Who Knew?<\/em>, <em>Beard Milk<\/em> was recorded live at Edmonton\u2019s awesome Wunderbar. Compared to his first release, <em>Beard Milk<\/em> is decidedly darker, which isn\u2019t necessarily a bad thing, especially if you enjoy laughing at the misery of others (as I do)&#8230; so long as it\u2019s delivered with the self-deprecating aplomb of a true pro. As the great Dr. Thompson said, \u201cWhen the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.\u201d With gut-busting riffs on everything from cat-masturbation to vaginal taste-buds, Jon Mick displays he\u2019s certainly a fucking pro with this one. Pick it up, but only if you yourself are a certifiable weirdo. You\u2019ve been warned.
