Julia\u2019s style hasn\u2019t changed. <em>By the Horns<\/em> is heavily loaded with tales of broken hearts, lessons learned and some bitter afterthoughts. In the title track, which is downright full of rage and despair, yet at the same time, she repeats \u201cI Believe in love\/I believe in love\u201d over and over. It\u2019s hopeful and lends some light to an otherwise extremely depressing track. Another standout track is her cover of \u201cBloodbuzz Ohio,\u201d her soft voice combined with the gentle acoustics make it stand out. This album is about the ups and downs of relationships, while the lows are really low, the highs leave you feeling good.
