This is a DIY-DJ event so anyone can register, no experience necessary! This is a chance for any student or community member in the 2SLGBTQ+ community and allies to make live radio. Play some music, read some poetry, talk about current events, interview someone. No experience necessary, CKUW will handle all the technical stuff.

NOTICE OF 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Winnipeg Campus/Community Radio Society Inc. announces its 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Members

DATE: Thursday April 23
TIME: 6:30 pm (Check in & membership payment open from 6 pm)
LOCATION: University of Winnipeg Hive

The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the regular business of the Society in accordance with our governing by-laws:
(1) Receiving and approving those financial statements prepared in accordance with By-law 4 (7)d(iii), namely the preceding fiscal year’s financial statements of the Society duly approved and reported on by the auditors;

(2) Receiving the Report of the Board of Directors with respect to the activities of the Society for the present fiscal year;

(4) Conducting such other business as the Society deems to be of concern to it, provided that such business is in accordance with the Articles and the by-laws.

The Agenda is below, and will be available online. All reports and documents for the AGM will be posted online as they are received.

Our team we will be at Into The Music, 245 McDermot Ave. distributing Fundrive goods from March 20th-22nd. Parking is easiest along King St. or Arthur St. Why not plan to browse the records too? If you send a friend for your incentives, make sure they have your name and donation information.

Our Fundrive kiosk inside the store will be open the following hours:

Our t-shirt design this year is from Natalie Mark 麥月明 a local Winnipeg/Treaty 1 illustrator and cartoonist.

Natalie’s comics are somewhere between a reflection of life and small curiosities. Their work plays with myth-making and whimsical fantasies projected onto social realism. Storytelling is Natalie’s primary tool for understanding themselves and exploring the world around them.
