Swine Flu (H1N1) has generated a rash of concern and is sending Canadians in droves to flu clinics where they are demanding the new vaccine. Is the flu pandemic really as threatening as so many of this nation’s public health authorities have claimed? Are there risks associated with immunization? Is there more to this new phenomenon than the media is regularly communicating? And is there any another agenda being served as the swine flu panic is taking the community by storm?
Swine Flu: The Second Wave is a brand new half-hour series airing exclusively on CKUW. Host Michael Welch (People of Interest, Hear There Be Dragons) assesses the available information and renders his diagnosis with thoughtful analysis supplemented by original reporting and provocative guest interviews.
