The latest from rough around the edges rocker Eamon McGrath takes the form of an EP, the first in a series, which will culminate in the release Exile, a full length LP, sometime in 2014. Part 1 is a blast of live off the floor grit at once reminiscent of 2012’s awesome Young Canadians, while at the same time offering a “new beginning” for this tireless troubadour. It’s a good mix of hard driving rockers and loud yet pensive pieces. If the three songs that make up this first installment are any indication of the final product, we’re in for a great piece album from McGrath in the coming months.
