Well, shoot. Dave Foley of legendary Canuck-comedy troupe Kids in the Hall, cult-classic sit-com Newsradio, and all around funny-man is hitting Rumor’s for a three-night, multiple set stand. What can I say about Dave that you don’t already know? Oh, you don’t know Dave? Check this out:
See Dave at Rumor’s Thursday at 8:00pm, or Friday and Saturday at 7:45pm and 10:30pm. Tickets are $20.

Keith Price Trio with Amber Epp and Alexa Dirks cover Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
So you know who Wilco are (or if you don’t, check out their sound now), but who are these local artists, and why will their show be worth your $5?
Keith is a classically trained professional jazz musician. He also just released an album Gaiya/Goya, which is a collection of indie/rock covers and original work. Performing alongside him will be bassist/celloist extraordinaire Julian Bradford and Winnipeg’s golden boy drummer Curtis Nowosad. Latin/jazz performer Amber Epp‘s passionate vocals are set to blend beautifully along with Alexa Dirks’ (of Chic Gamine) husky tones. Such a powerful crew, this is! They’re sure to carry your favourite Wilco tunes through the night with home-bred talent and joy.
See them at 7pm at Aqua Books, 274 Garry Street. Students pay $5 cover and everyone else, $10.
