It’s that time of the month again, friends! Stylus magazine hits the streets with a brand new edition, and the Rose N Bee Pub plays host to our launch party!
Kicking things off at 11:00pm is Hana Lu Lu, prepping for an appearance at Winnipeg Jazz Fest later this month! Contributor Dave Skene (Manic Shakes, Mary Jane Stole My Girl, many more) will play a tweener set of his original material and some well placed covers. Finishing off the evening is electro project aband*nthecar.
If you’re into stand-up comedy, make sure to come early and check out Open Mic Night, hosted by Mike Green, from 9:00pm to 10:30.
Admission is free, but all donations raised will go towards keeping Stylus sustainable into the future. – SB

Miss Rae has got one of the biggest and best blues voices in the city, and I know that you won’t want to miss her show at the Park Theatre this Friday. In an effort to raise funds for their upcoming album, Miss Rae & the Midnight Ramblers will be jammin’ away at the Park on Friday, June 7. Come out for an evening of good ol’ delta blues, old jazz & soul tunes, along with the guitar pickin’ ways of Young Ben Roscoe. Don’t miss this opportunity to catch awesome local blues, with a breath of new life!
