Winnipeg’s theatrical pop band Joko Tea is back today with a delightful new single called “Crick” which is a maximalist jazz jam that is dynamic and colourful.
The song, like some older Joko Tea singles, comes in three parts and moves from a woodsy crunch slunch slipper of a zone into an explosion of electric fanfare that plays out with an analog take on house music. The song is taken from the soon-to-be-released Joko Tea album, Frustrated Machine. Check out the artwork and Listen below.
