Apollo Suns — Collective Visions

Pleasant enough, I suppose, but I can’t shake the feeling that this album is like if you got a late-night talk show host’s backing band to pad out those little stings they play when leading back in from a commercial break into a full-length record. But it doesn’t quite work; you’re not meant to listen to those for more than 15 seconds at a time!

If anyone at Canada Revenue Agency is looking for new hold music, have I got the band for you. You could certainly do worse.
