Well if you haven’t seen or heard of our bi-monthly fundraiser festival pandemic that started at the Lo Pub back in the summer and moved on over to the Rose n’ Bee, then get your ass out to the next one in February! This last slew of our fine Winnipeg artistic friends first included Mitten Claps (listen to their 2012 EP here) who got the night rollin’:
The always raspy and sexy Gunness — also known as Alana Mercer from The Quiffs, The High Thunderers, The Blowholes and The Angry Dragons — took the stage, pelted her bass drum and thrashed her guitar to a room full of very happy fucking people:
Finally the quirky boys in The Unbelievable Bargains ended our night with some sangin’ and dancin’ and fucked up and fun lyrics.
Thanks so much to everyone who came to the show to see every artist on stage donate their time to everyone’s good cause known as Stylus Magazine!
Let’s keep this independent print music mag — that’s the oldest in the country still runnin’ byyyy the wayyy — alive and well for many more years to come!
