Sound Republic brought in Kray-kray-zie Bone and Wish Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to Winnipeg’s Marquee Lounge & Event Centre a few Fridays ago and the night was not so tame. At midnight we arrive to the front doors to find a couple wasted girls verbally brawling a couple bouncers. One gets taken down to the pavement out front as the other screams.

Ouch..

Enter: violence against femininity vs. lessons of equality debate here….neither side ever wins.

Head inside to check out just how renovated the ex-Dylan’s on Pembina is.

“Shit it’s dark in here.. can’t see anything.. are the walls painted black?”

Grab a couple Heinekens and find a nice spot side-stage to snap some photos:

Show the bouncer a rad picture Mike takes of him.

On his good side.

Just in case he was thinking of kicking us out from our little cove.

Nice.

The Thugs quickly go through crowd favourites “Thug Luv”, “Notorious Thugs”, “Mo Murda”, “Tha Crossroads”, etc.

The dude next to me notices I’m wielding a pregnant woman.. tells me about his two-year old son.. nice guy.

Fight breaks out right behind him.

We block the entrance to our side-stage lounge as it settles quickly.

People are lame.
