  • CKUW 95.9 FM & Half Pints Brewing present: CKUbreW

Posted by Rob on February 9th, 2011

CKUbreW has been crafted especially for Fundrive by Half Pints Brewmaster President David Rudge. “We’ve used local hops and malt and the beer has been clarified by having a stereo playing nothing but CKUW placed below the tank 24/7 ‘til it’s bottled. The sonic vibrations from CKUW will aid in the maturing of the beer.”

CKUbreW will be available in bottles at either the Lo Pub (330 Kennedy St.) or the Half Pints Brewery (550 Roseberry St.) The beer label features this year’s Fundrive art (Radio Girl) by local illustrator and musician Evan Quiring.

CKUbreW has been produced in limited quantities and like other Half Pints special brews it is expected to sell out before the end of the Fundrive week.
