  • Fundrive Premium Pickup - March 21-23

    If you donated for a premium (Friends Card, T-shirt etc.) during our recent Fundrive the time has come to pickup your swag!

    Our team we will be at Into The Music, 245 McDermot Ave. distributing Fundrive goodies from March 21st-23rd. Parking is easiest along King St. or Arthur St. Why not plan to browse the records too? If you send a friend for your incentives, make sure they have your name and donation information.

    Our Fundrive kiosk inside the store will be open the following hours:

    • Friday Mar 21st and Saturday Mar 22nd: 11:30 – 5:30 PM
    • Sunday Mar 23rd: 11:30 am – 4:30 PM

    After March 23rd pickup will be only be at CKUW by appointment, mail outs will be going out soon. Thank you for your ongoing support of CKUW 95.9 FM!

  • Our Live Drive has Concluded but You Can Still Give!!

    As of 6pm Friday night we have passed $54,000 pledged to our listener driven radio! This is a fantastic result, thank you so much to everyone who has donated.

    We are a bit short of our overall goal of $60,000 so if you haven’t yet made a contribution, please do so today – fundrive.ckuw.ca Premiums like the 2025 T-shirt and deluxe hoodie are available for donations made until the end of February. Tax receipt-able donations made up to the end of February can actually be used on your 2024 tax return! Please don’t wait, we need your generosity to add to our total – fundrive.ckuw.ca

    If you gave for a premium, we’re getting those ready for mid March, we will send you an email and post the information about pickup on this website.

    It’s the last few days to give to the live Fundrive 2025 event. So far listener donations have propelled us to a total of $41,172. We are grateful for all the support so far but we’ve got to keep going to hit our overall goal of $60,000.

    Please make a donation today by calling 204-7784-6877 or donating securely online at fundrive.ckuw.ca A gift at the signature $95.9 level helps pay for nearly two hours of our operations, it’s a small portion of our overall budget but a significant contribution to Fundrive.     Listener donations enable the independent and ad-free radio that we know you prefer. We don’t receive funding from any government or the university, it’s individual support from students and listeners that powers our broadcasts!

    At CKUW we care deeply about the kind of radio we make and we know authenticity is important to you.   • Fundrive Update

    On Wednesday morning we surpassed $14,400 pledged to Fundrive 2025. To reach our overall goal of $60,000 we need every listener to reflect on the value of CKUW in our community and act by making a donation. Thank you to everyone who has pledged so far, your support is exciting to our volunteers and vital to our operations!

    You can give any amount, but pledges of $35 or more can choose one of our amazing premium items with art this year from Cato Cormier. Go to fundrive.ckuw.ca to see the full list of premiums and select a donation that suits your budget. You can also call us at 204-774-6877 to work with our phone volunteers to complete your donation.

    It’s a very special time on the air as CKUW hosts have special programming planned. We hope you’ll stay tuned and tell your friends, it’s a great time to start listening to community radio.
