The CRTC is proposing a 5% increase in Cancon for community radio stations. What do you think? Does CKUW need more Cancon? More local music? We’re currently playing 35% Canadian Content between 6am and midnight and a good proportion of our chart is local. Is more better? Fundrive Matt is off on tour as his alter-ego ‘Boats’ so we’ve moved Fundrive collections out of the Info Booth and up to our offices. Come to room 4CM11 during office hours (10am – 6pm, Mon-Fri.) to fulfill your pledge. We’ve restocked the hoodies and we still have lots of shirts and Friends Cards available.
CKUW counts on listener donations to keep the station on-air and growing. We’ve collected a lot of pledges so far, but we need everyone to be a hero and honour their pledge.
