  • The Man Cave Expansion

Posted by Robin on March 2nd, 2010

The Man Cave is creating extra shelving, busting open some walls and laying down flooring as it makes room for more music.

On March 8 The Man Cave adds an extra half hour and moves up the Monday night schedule to begin at 9:30 pm.

That’s an hour and a half of great music brought to you by host Neil Coligan who has plans for other renovations to take advantage of the federal government’s sonic renovation program. Tune into The Man Cave, every Monday from 9:30 to 11 pm.

  • Thank you, we made it!

    Whew!

We barely scraped past our goal raising just over $50,000 for CKUW, listener driven radio.

A huge thank-you to everyone who pledged during our special Fundrive week. If you haven’t pledged we still need your support. We will happily accept pledges in person at the station, online at fundrive.ckuw.ca or at the Info Booth and you will still be eligible for all the regular incentives.

The Info Booth is on the first floor of Centennial Hall at the University of Winnipeg. Tim will have the booth open Saturday and Sunday (Feb 13th & 14th) and on weekdays through to mid March. The University will be closed Monday for Lois Riel day. If you have any questions about pledge payment, call Tim at 786-9787 or Rob at 786-9782.

Thank you listeners, we are overwhelmed with your generosity!
