CKUW is proud to announce we are now accepting submissions for CKUW Presents.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR COMMUNITY ORIENTED OR CHARITABLE EVENTS TO PARTNER WITH AND HELP PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT.

EMAIL GIL CARROLL TO SUBMIT YOUR EVENT. PLEASE INCLUDE THE DATE OF THE EVENT IN THE SUBJECT LINE.

What CKUW will do for your event :

  • The presented event will be promoted by CKUW through a recorded PSA that will be played on air to draw listeners attention to the event..
  • CKUW will promote the event up to three times weekly on social media websites, Facebook and Twitter.
  • CKUW will encourage the forging of relationships between event organizers and community group members/volunteer show hosts by allowing for live on-air interviews to discuss and promote the event, if a suitable show/host is willing to incorporate this segment into their program.

What the Event organizers will do for CKUW:

  • The organization/company hosting the event will include the CKUW logo on all promotional material (posters, handbills, on-line posts) and will include a link to the CKUW website on the social media event page.
  • If applicable, CKUW volunteers will have the opportunity to MC/Host the event (introduce bands or speakers). CKUW will be invited to display a banner at the event, and also will have Stylus magazines, featuring the CKUW programming guide, on hand.
