This sophomore release from Kingston, Ontario’s PS I Love You really snuck up and sucker punched me good. Continue reading “PS I Love You – Death Dreams”
KREATOR – Phantom Antichrist
If you count the pre-Mille era, this band has been going for 30+ years. Continue reading “KREATOR – Phantom Antichrist”

I can’t be sure, but speaking for myself, I forgot what some of the songs on here sounded like five minutes after listening to them. Continue reading “YOUNG LIARS – Homesick Future”
UNLEASHED – Odelheim
Their BRUTAL bio calls them THE viking metal band. As with most things Nuclear Blast, there are moments here, but largely this comes off as calculated and formulaic. Riff followed by perfectly assembled verse. Acoustic segue. Etcetera. You know the drill and so do they. Continue reading “UNLEASHED – Odelheim”
