555 Osborne Songwriter Explosion Continues to Erupt

Remember that time that I wrote about the venue 555 Osborne and their Songwriter Explosion series?  Remember when I said it ends in March?  Well not anymore!

Mr. Hamilton of the Sturgeons has informed me that they’ve got acts booked all the way until May 15.  The full list is available on the Facebook event, which includes JD Edwards, Steve Basham, and Carly Dow amongst a lot more.

So get back on the bus and eat some Thai food!  Shows start at 7 PM every Wednesday night.

A Wednesday night a few weeks ago I stepped off a #16 bus to make my way down to 555 Osborne for the Songwriter Explosion night. The story of the venue is known, but still unique: a sign-less bar in the basement of a Thai restaurant showcasing singer-songwriters and new artists, all the while hosting acts from punk bands to DJs.
