  • Happy 15th Birthday CKUW FM!

Posted by Rob on April 29th, 2014

April 30, 1999 CKUW launched as an FM broadcaster. We are very proud of our half century of history on-campus but the last fifteen years of radio have defined our station as a true community broadcaster.

Thank you to everyone who helped us make the leap to city-wide FM, all those who have listened and especially each individual who has contributed financial support to Fundrive.

Our present to you is an amazing new format of AD-FREE RADIO, rolling out formally over the next few weeks. We are also proud to re-release our CD compilations from 2004 & 2009 now digitally optimized and available on Bandcamp. Enjoy!
