    Smooth Operator is a fun, safe space on the dial for women, trans and non-binary folks to get a mentored introduction to radio hosting and production.

    Listener donations have added up to $57,883 pledged to CKUW, thank you! We need everyone who made a pledge to pay up or make payment arrangements in the next few weeks. Bookstore pledge desk hours for the next 2 weeks are as follows:

    • Sat Feb 21 – 10am-4pm
    • Mon-Tue – 8:30-5pm
    • Wed Feb 25 – 8:30-2pm
    • Closed Thurs Feb 26
    • Fri Feb 21 – 8:30-5pm
    • Sat Feb 22 – 10-4pm
    • March 2-6 – 8:30-5pm

    The bookstore is in the UW AnX building between Balmoral & Colony St beside the Unviersity (former bus depot) and there is free short term parking off of Colony.

    We must also thank all the community partners who donated food or prizes to help make Fundrive happen:

    We have fallen a little bit short of our goal of $60,000. Thank you to all the donors who pledged our total up to $55,208 we are proud to have so many supporters in the community and humbled by your contributions.

    The Fundrive phones are closed but we continue to accept donations online at fundrive.ckuw.ca or in person at the U of W Bookstore. The Bookstore pledge desk is open the following hours:

    • Saturday Feb 14th & 21st / 10am – 4pm
    • Tuesday – Friday Feb 17-20 / 8:30am – 5pm

    The pledge desk will remain open until mid March.

    Thanks to every donor and all the community partners who contributed to Fundrive 2015. Stay tuned, our pledge to you is more great ad-free community radio!

    So far, listener contributions have reached $40,083 but we only have one day left to hit our goal of $60,000. Any amount of pledge is welcome but the more you give the more you can get back with our unique incentives and thank-you gifts. This year we had local artist Suzie Smith create the Fundrive art that adorns our exclusive shirts and hoodies. For a donation of $95.90 you can receive a handmade CKUW mug from Karen Taylor Fine Art Porcelain
