  • Upcoming on Shades of Classics (Sundays 8am)

    NOVEMBER 11 – Alto Ross Brownlee of the local choral ensemble Camerata Nova. Ross will be conducting Camerata Nova in their upcoming concerts on November 24th and 25th.

    NOVEMBER 18 – Soprano Monica Huisman. Monica will be performing the role of Celeste in Manitoba Opera’s world premiere of “Transit of Venus” in November. She grew up in Winnipeg, and is a rising star on the Canadian opera scene.

    today on 9 villages we will be joined by minneapolis own THE KNOTWELLS for jesus’ sake! Its vernacularism and vernacularity made punk whose tales of bandlands hermit-monsters, white supremacist voodoo revenge and overly amorouus men of the cloth comprise an informed americana which falls “like one-dem-dere yankee shock and awe attcks” on boring, snoring, alterna-faux-croc (pronounced folk rock).
