    this week i am a scientist! interviews mike greffen from the university of calgary. mike jumped into his car and out of the wind to tell us why he’s up in prince george, bc installing ground based observatories for the time history of events and macroscale interactions during substorms (themis) project, a project involving u of c, uc berkeley, the canadian space agency, and nasa. and, keep your eyes peeled for the february 15th themis kick-off that begins with a bang—a rocket launch from cape canaveral at 7:08 CST.
