Greetings CKUW true believers. We’ve had some serious problems with our server over the last week. Everything is back to ‘normal’ now, but we are missing archives from many shows from July 28th to August 9th. Archives of these shows will never be available, we apologize for the inconvienience.

  • Music Department Meeting

Posted by Rob on July 13th, 2006

Hi: We’re having another CKUW Music Department meeting at the station on Thursday, July 20th at 6:00 pm.

    It’s open to all volunteers!

The topics at this meet are:

    1. Using our new database to search our collection.

    2. Cataloguing, shifting, and sleeving discs.

    3. Labels, labels, labels: Requesting and tracking new releases !

Our tracking team is still being developed – if you have some experience with this, and if you are interested in assisting with tracking at the station please attend the meeting.

If you’ve ever thought of getting involved in some way other than doing live radio at CKUW – this is a great opportunity for you to see what else you can do as a CKUW volunteer. Thanks – Don

  • Blam!

    Welcome to the new ckuw.ca

A huuuge thank-you to Jason (parit.ca) and Derek (amphibian.info). Without their work this would never have happened. Also needing thanks is Sunny CKUW, Marc CKUT and all the others who coded, tested and agitated to get this done.

Check out the program archives and let us know what you think! More updates to come.
