  • Kyrie Kristmanson on air tonight

    Tune in to The Book of Right-On, 7-8 p.m. tonight to hear an interview with and live performance by Kyrie Kristmanson. Kyrie’s in town for the
    Núna Now festival.

    The Regina-native, Ottawa-resident bilingual multi-instrumentalist and singer will be opening opening for Johann Johannson Saturday night at the West End. Don’t miss this first chance to check out her unique jazz-pop-acoustic stylings!

  • Derrick Jensen on CKUW

    In partnership with Spirited Anarchy, the Festival, CKUW will be broadcasting a live streaming teleconference by Derrick Jensen. Derrick Jensen is the author of The Culture of Make Believe, A Language Older than Words, Listening to the Land: Conversations about Nature, Culture, and Eros, a USA Today Critics Choice for one of the best nature books of 1995, and Railroads and Clearcuts. He writes for The New York Times Magazine, Audubon, and The Sun Magazine, among many others. He was named the 2006 Press Action Person of the Year and has a B.Sc. in Mineral Engineering Physics from the Colorado School of Mines.
