Tuesday October 16th we are turning CKUW completely over to the students at the university of Winnipeg. Tune in for the Student-Powered-Radio Marathon beginning at midnight. A full schedule fo what you can expect is on our site here: Marathon Schedule
Correction: The Freestyle Radio Series will be heard daily Monday, October 1 through Friday, October 5 from 1-2pm. Join host Rob Crooks for Festival previews and feature interviews.
Attention radicals! Black Mask, your source for anarchist news and views, has moved to its new time slot from 4-5pm in a direct swap with Amateur Hour, which will now air from 5-6pm. Please adjust your listening plans and podcast feeds accordingly.
Stendhal Syndrome has moved to Monday/Tuesday overnight and is now followed by Amplified Radio, a new electronic music show.
We’re happy to have System Kidz back from their summer break as of today, and think you’ll enjoy the new Tuesday/Wednesday overnight programming we’ve added: Am I Right?, a comedy show from CJSW, Calgary and nowlikephotographs, your source for new ambient and bedroom electronica.
Starting next week, you’ll find the Ultra Mega Sports Show renamed After the Buzzer and with a new broadcast time on Tuesdays from 2-3pm,
Lastly, so long to the summer fill-in show Trivial Pursuits, and to Like Fire in My Bones. At the End of the Day is also saying goodbye on September 25th. Stay tuned for news on what will take the place of these shows in the schedule.
