    We’re approaching $27,000 here at CKUW marking the halfway point to our goal of $53,000.

    Keep ringing the phones at 204-774-6877 and pledging online at fundrive.ckuw.ca !

    Hitting our goal is the first step towards keeping CKUW vital and fiercely independent in downtown Winnipeg. Truthfully, we’re hoping to sail past the goal so we can do even more for you in our community on air and on the ground.

    We’re on our fourth day of Fundrive 2013 and closing in on $20,000 pledged towards our goal of $53,000.

    More than 25% of our budget comes from listener donations and its community support that keeps us independent and alternative! Call 204-774-6877 with your pledge, phone operators are standing by to make the process easy. Online pledging with a credit card is also simple and secure at fundrive.ckuw.ca

  • We’ve Hit $10,000 !!

    We’re pretty excited to have had $10, 000 pledged so far but we’re still a long ways from our goal of $53, 000. You can show your support for community radio in Winnipeg by calling in now – 204-774-6877. Phone operators are standing by and can help you decide what level to donate at by letting you know about all the great incentives we have.

    Please note that pledge payments and incentive pick ups have moved to the UW Bookstore in the AnX, the old Greyhound Bus terminal. Their hours are 9:30am – 5pm weekdays and 10am – 4pm on Saturday. Free parking for pledge pick up is available off Colony or you can park at the meters on Balmoral.

    Thanks to those of you that have pledged already, we just broke $8600 on our way to our $53K goal.

    For as little as $35 you can help us out and get a Friends of CKUW card which gives you insider access to discounts and/or special offers at all of the participating businesses.     This year, because CKUW is celebrating 50 years as a student group on campus, the toques and hoodies we have for you as incentives at $120 and $160 respectively sport the gold 50th logo.
