CKUW survives thanks to donations from listeners like you! We are a community driven, ad-free, non-profit broadcaster. We receive no financial support from the city, provincial or federal government.
Once a year we ask listeners to renew their support or to contribute for the first time, for our 2020 pledge drive we have set a goal of $60,000 of listener support. Fundrive happens February 7th -14th, stay tuned to find out how you can support your ‘downtown underground’ radio.

Our office will be closed starting December 20th. We’ll be back to regular office hours on January 6th. If you have recently won a prize we will hold onto it for you to pick up in the new year.

We are in the process of renewing our licence with the CRTC. The process is open and the public can comment on our application. If you want to review our licence renewal and correspondence with the CRTC you can find all relevant documents at the links below. We are not proposing any significant changes to our programming or operations. The deadline for comment is January 20th 2020.
