  • JustTV Winter Showcase

    Just TV is having a Winter Showcase on Dec 7th at the Park Theatre 698 Osborne St. Doors at 6pm show at 630pm. Admission is Free

    The Just TV Winter Showcase will feature music and videos from youth in the Just TV program run out of the Broadway Neighbourhood Centre 185 Young Street.

    Just TV is one of the most accredited and successful programs that is run at The Broadway Neighbourhood Centre. The program has now claimed over a decade of progress, constantly providing youth with multitudes of opportunities from employment and resourcing to video and music production skills. Just TV provides youth with the opportunities to express themselves through multimedia in a safe, fun and creative environment. Participants engage in all facets of the audio and video industry and are tasked to create projects based on their interests, experiences and lives.

    *Tune in Thursday November 30th at 4pm to hear a radio special on the Just TV Winter Showcase featuring interviews with some of the musicians and film makers of Just TV. *

  • Sandy & Nora Live in Winnipeg West End Cultural Center Nov the 24th

    Sandy Hudson and Nora Loretto bring their incisive and critical political commentary to the West End Cultural Center on Nov 24th.

    Sandy Hudson is a Jamaican-Canadian political activist, writer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is the co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement presence in Canada.

    Nora Loretto is an author, editor and journalist based in Quebec city. Nora is the author of one of the few analysis of the COVID 19 Pandemic in Canada Spin Doctors

    They will be joined by world renowned pianist John Farah, the man behind the music of Sandy & Nora.

    On November the 24th at the West End Cultural Center Sand & Nora will be in Winnipeg for a live taping of the Sandy and Nora Talk Politics Podcast. Doors at 630pm, show from 7 to 9:15pm

    On Oct 24th at 11am tune in to a special episode of Boots & Saddle hosted by Sean Burns. He will be previewing his new album and some of the songs that inspired it.

    Be sure to catch Sean Burns and Lost County at the Times Changed High And Lonesome club on Friday Oct 27th for the album release show.

  • New Season of Truth Before Reconciliation starts Oct 16th at 130pm

    A new season of Truth Before Reconciliation hosted by Tammy Wolfe will start on Oct 16th 130pm to 2pm. This season will feature 30 half hour episodes running to April 29th. Tammy Wolfe interviews a variety of indigenous artists, actors, athletes, authors, journalists, and activists. The season finishes off with live recordings from the Camp Morgan protest over the summer of 2023.

    Guests include but not limited to Gramma Shingoose, Sten Joddi, Katherna Vermette, Melody McIver.
