Local ganja enthusiasts RastaMils are raising some much needed cashish for their upcoming full length release tonight at the world famous Windsor Hotel. If you’ve never caught the act before, be prepared to boogie!
Get yourself to the Windsor to help the RastaMils Reggae Revolution take full flight! The night is filled out with support from Sapphire Empire, Chez Willi, Rebel Force, and DJ Silver Fox.

To help raise some funds for the Fringe Festival’s production of “Quickies with Chekhov,” four great Winnipeg acts will take the stage at the Cavern this Friday! The Burning Kettles, Rio, and Atlaas will be playing, with special guest dj Jimmy Gatz! Being described as “more fun than a pillow fight,” there’s no reason NOT to come out!
Come help raise funds for “Quickies with Chekhov,” a Winnipeg Fringe Festival Production, by coming to check out these awesome bands at the Cavern (112 Osborne St), this Friday, July 5th. Tickets are $7 at the door, and this show is 18+. -SD

1, 2, SNFU!!!
Holy shitballs! I am pumped! One of my favourite bands is making their way back to the desolate reaches of Western Canada… and they’ve got a brand new album in tow! The long lived, and often troubled SNFU are back with a new slab of vinyl titled Never Trouble Trouble Until Trouble Troubles You.
The (second) last time I saw SNFU at the Zoo, I got my head kicked in my an errant, crowd surfing army boot during “Cannibal Cafe.” Did the ensuing bloodbath or concussion stop me from banging my heavy head until the tune was over? Fuck no! Man. This is going to be so, so money.
The party goes down at the Zoo, with doors open at 8:00pm. Opening acts from Asado, Bring the Fight, and Up’n’Atom. Fuckin’ rights! -SB
